Robert Betchley brings a distinguished background and extensive experience to his role as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of American Expediting. With a career spanning over two decades in leadership positions within the logistics and healthcare industries, Rob has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive organizational success, foster innovation, and deliver exceptional results.

Rob’s professional journey began after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the prestigious United States Military Academy at West Point. He served with distinction in the United States Army, where he held the rank of Lieutenant and Captain, leading teams in Germany and the 1st Armored Division. Rob’s military experience instilled in him the values of discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence that have become pillars of his leadership approach.

After his military service, Rob had a successful career at Nestle Waters North America and Cardinal Health, holding various roles in operations, sales, and general management. Over his nineteen-year tenure, he established a reputation as a strategic leader, achieving remarkable results while taking on increasing levels of responsibility.

In 2015, Rob became the CEO of Logistics Health Inc., a healthcare services company within the Optum division of UnitedHealth Group. Under his guidance, the company experienced significant growth and expanded its services to meet the evolving needs of the healthcare industry. He later served as CEO for Alternative Biomedical Solutions and Advanced Tissue, both private equity-backed healthcare companies. Recently, Rob held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at SDS Rx, a prominent healthcare delivery and logistics company.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rob is known for his unwavering dedication to customer service and his ability to build high-performing teams. As the CEO of American Expediting, Rob is poised to lead the company into a new era of growth and innovation, ensuring its continued success as a market leader in time-critical logistics.
