When The Shipment Hits Home

Brian

Our latest story comes from one of our own, Brian Roberge, Direction of Operations.

Shortly after joining the company, Brian noticed an urgent order come through from FedEx. As he reviewed the details, something caught his eye. It was a familiar name. The recipient’s name matched that of his own sister.

Curious, Brian picked up the phone and called her to confirm. To his surprise, it was her order. She urgently needed a specific type of medicine for her husband, Brian’s brother-in-law.

In that moment, the work became deeply personal.

What might have otherwise been another critical shipment took on new meaning. Brian found himself coordinating a delivery that would help his own family, an experience that reminded him, in the most powerful way, why our mission matters.

It was a heartwarming moment that brought the company’s purpose to life in a way few get to experience firsthand. Outside of that one familiar name, there was nothing that would have connected the dots. Because Brian noticed the details of the order and because our team acted swiftly, the medicine arrived exactly when it was needed most.

Stories like Brian’s remind us that every order we process and every shipment we move could be for someone’s loved one. Each one of our orders impact a parent, a child, a friend, or even, as in Brian’s case, our very own family.
