# How to Place a New On-Demand Order

Creating a shipment in the new portal can be done in just a few clicks.

#### **Step-by-step**

1. Select **New Order**
2. Choose the **vehicle type** 
3. Select **On-Demand**
4. Enter your pickup location
5. Enter your delivery location
6. Add package details, special handling, temperature requirements, or notes
7. Upload documents if needed
8. Review the summary
9. **Submit the order**

#### **Tips**

- Save addresses to your **Address Book** for faster entry
- Save frequently used order types as **Templates**
- For temperature-controlled shipments, be sure to include product details
