How to Fix a Rejected Pickup or Delivery Address

If the portal can’t validate the address when placing an order, try:

  • Step 1: Add Suite/Floor Correctly
    • Enter Suite/Floor in the Address Line 2 field, not the main address field.
  • Step 2: Remove Special Characters
    • Avoid symbols like #, &, !, *, or internal notes.
  • Step 3: Use the Suggested Address
    • If Dispatch Science recommends a standardized USPS address, select it.
  • Step 4: Add a Note for Drivers
    • If the validated address differs slightly (e.g., a new building), add a note like:
      “Deliver to Building C—new construction not in maps yet.”
